In today’s world, many children and young people are full of talent, creativity, and a passion for learning. Yet there are still many who haven’t found the right opportunities or a clear path for their future.

At Scent and Sense, we believe that if we open doors for young people to explore new skills—skills that are close to home and practical—they can grow into young entrepreneurs who are not only skilled but also driven by social responsibility.

We’ve partnered with universities and vocational institutions across the country to host special workshops under the theme “ The Art of Scent. ” These workshops are both fun and educational, covering topics such as:

• Creating handmade scented candles

• Extracting essential oils from natural ingredients

• Designing attractive, user-friendly product packaging

• Naming a brand and building a basic online presence

  
  

These programs are not just “ one-off classes. ” They are eye-opening experiences that help young people discover that these small, practical skills can grow into real careers in the future.

Alongside technical training, we also emphasize the values of social responsibility and sustainability. Students take part in mini business simulations, where they plan, create, and even sell their own products.

Some students begin by selling candles to friends or teachers. Others find customers in their local neighborhoods and start imagining how they could launch a small business after graduation.

These experiences offer more than just knowledge they help students build confidence and pride in what they can create.

Our collaboration with educational institutions is not a one-time event. It’s an ongoing relationship. We work closely with teachers, instructors, and students to tailor workshop content to each group’s needs. We also provide materials, tools, and ongoing guidance throughout the process.

We’re also planning to expand this program to schools in remote areas, so that access to opportunity isn't limited to students in cities or well-connected regions.
